Workshop: 10/15/26 Understanding Herbalism through Astrology

In times of early Greece through medieval Europe, each plant used in herbal remedies was ruled by one of the seven traditional planetary bodies. This archetypal knowledge can still be relevant to your life and your health today.

Join herbalist Camilla Voelker and astrologer Ames Carpenter to learn more. Using your Sun sign and your chart as a starting point, explore which gentle herbs might help you unlock your natural somatic vitality and balance the archetypal energies in your life.

Bring your journal and a pen. 

Tea will be served at the event featuring the herbs we will be discussing: Dandelion, Ginger, Marshmallow, Tulsi

Once you register, you will be sent a welcome email with information about how to access your astrological birth chart. This is optional.

If you’re interested in exploring herbs that we will be working with prior to class consider sourcing loose herbs from Golden Hour Farm (MI), Heartwood Forest Farm (MI), or Oshala Farm (OR). Traditional Medicinals is a tea company found in most grocery stores. They make tea bags of Dandelion and Ginger, and have tea blends with Marshmallow and Tulsi!
