Discover a Creative Way to Showcase Your Indoor Plants!
Gather your fellow plant lovers and join us for a hands-on Kokedama Workshop- a fun and unique experience where you'll learn to craft beautiful plant arrangements using the Japanese art of Kokedama. Kokedama, which translates to "moss ball" in Japanese, is a traditional botanical art form that involves growing a plant in a ball of soil, which is then covered in moss and bound with string or twine. A beautiful, minimalist way to display plants without pots.
In this one and a half hour class, you'll explore the history and techniques behind Kokedama before rolling up your sleeves to create your own living masterpiece to take home.
Note: This is a hands-on (and slightly messy) experience - perfect for groups who aren't afraid to get their hands a little dirty while enjoying something therapeutic and creative.
Workshop will take place at Gathered Botanicals storefront.
